Assistant coach, Nicole

Nicole Sikowitz is the college and high school sailing coach for 
Baltimore County Sailing Center. She began sailing in a recreational 
program in New Jersey at the age of ten. She subsequently sailed for 
numerous yacht clubs all around the Barneget Bay and began racing up 
and down the east coast in national competitions. She attended Roger 
Williams University and sailed on their varsity team for all four 
years, which was ranked top ten in the nation. Her freshman fall RWU 
was ranked number one for fleet racing. While at RWU, she was able to 
earn two bachelors of Science degrees in Marine Biology and 
Environmental Science. She lived and worked in the Caribbean 
performing research on restoration of the coral reef ecosystems. 
Nicole coached summer sailing for many years. Spring 2018 was her 
first season as a collegiate coach. She helped bring our team to their 
first ever win at William and Mary, and she cannot wait to get started 
again in the fall!!
